I never watched anime before April 2023. I watched Overlord and started to enjoy watching anime. I already watched a lot of shows until 2024 began but it seems like I watched roughly 6000 episodes in 2024. I don't know how and why, it just happened.

2024 made me felt I aged 1/2 centuries in just a year. The reason is I graduated from high school and currently living my college year, I honestly felt I can't enjoy anime like I used to because it felt heavy, but at the end of the day anime lets me be a high school kid again.

What a year it was for anime. There were certainly ups and downs, different opinions, but overall it was a roller coaster ride. Animes like Frieren, Bleach, Dan Da Dan, Solo Leveling got some spotlight as they deserved, but there’s always room for more obscure ones to shine.
