• I believed that Eastern animation could offer the pinnacle of direction, story-telling, and pure Sakuga art. I believed that it was misunderstood like A Silent Voice. Under-appreciated like Grave of the Fireflies. Then I watched Ex-Arm and now I don’t know what to think at all.
