BY ENTERING OR OTHERWISE PARTICIPATING IN THIS EVENT, ALL ENTRANTS AND OTHER PARTICIPANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH ARE FINAL AND BINDING ON ALL MATTERS PERTAINING TO THIS EVENT.

1. Operator

You Should Read This Manga (“Event”) is operated by MyAnimeList Co., Ltd. (“MyAnimeList”).

2. Eligibility

This event is open to users who agree to the Terms of Use (“ToU”).

This Event is open only to individuals who are 16 years of age or older at time of entry. The Operator shall have the right at any time to require proof of age, identity and/or eligibility to participate in the Event. Failure to provide such proof or insufficient proof may result in disqualification from the Event in Operator’s sole discretion. All information requested by and supplied to the Operator for the purpose of the nomination must be truthful, complete, accurate and in no way misleading. Operator reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disregard any entrant from the Event should such an entrant at any stage supply unsatisfactory, untruthful, incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information.

*By participating in this event, you indicate that you have obtained the consent of the aforementioned legal representative, guardian, curator or assistant and have agreed to the ToU.

3. Event Period

The period for submitting manga nomination period begins February 2, 2025 at 19:00, and will continue until February 27, 2025 at 19:00 (PST). Operator serves the right to extend the event time and amend these Terms and Conditions accordingly.

4. How to Participate in this Event

There is no purchase necessary to enter this Event. To enter this event, review and follow these Terms and Conditions, nominate titles in the provided form and submit the required information. Limit one (1) entry per person, per e-mail address, per MAL ID during the Event Period via online entry, regardless of whether a person has more than one e-mail address/MAL ID or more than one person uses the same e-mail address/MAL ID. Multiple applications by one person or the use of any system, robot, agent, or software to automatically submit entries in connection with this Event is prohibited and will result in all submissions from that person being disregarded. Operator assumes no responsibility for late submissions or entry failures due to technological or other issues.

5. About Submissions and Copyrights

□ Copyrights and other rights of submitted nominations and comments belong to the user (the rights holder). No copyrights or other rights will be transferred upon submitting a comment. However, MyAnimeList may use, reproduce, distribute, or adapt the nominations, results and comments without providing compensation and without restriction in terms of region, period, or manner of usage for the following purposes.

• Operation of the Event
• Publication on websites and social media accounts related to the Event
• Creation, publication, and downloading of content based on the Event
• Advertising and publicity of the Event and the aforementioned content
• Advertising and publicity of the MyAnimeList Group, sponsors and other business partners
• Any acts related to the above items

□ MyAnimeList may, at its discretion, alter, delete, or edit submitted comments to the extent that the content is not significantly impaired.

□ Users may not exercise any moral rights of authors or performers with regard to the use or editing of comments by MyAnimeList.

□ MyAnimeList will decide, at its discretion, whether or not to publish the submitted comments, as well as the duration, placement, and deletion of such comments. MyAnimeList will not respond to queries regarding these decisions. MyAnimeList will not publish any comments that fall into the following categories.

• Content to which the user does not own the relevant copyrights or other rights
• Content that is the same as, similar to, or is suspected to imitate content for which a third party owns the relevant copyrights or other rights
• Content that includes personal information (names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses, etc.)
• Content that is contrary to the purpose of the Event
• Content that is politically or religiously biased
• Content that violates laws and regulations or is offensive to public order and morals
• Content that infringes on the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, publicity rights, good name, social credibility, or any other rights or interests of other users, MyAnimeList, or any third party
• CContent that constitutes slander, fraud, threats, or harassment of other users, MyAnimeList, or any third party
• Content that expresses discriminatory views
• Other content that MyAnimeList, at its discretion, deems inappropriate for the operation of the Event

□ In the event that a third party claims infringement of rights or compensation for damages in connection with a submitted comment, the user will be responsible for dealing with such claims on their own. MyAnimeList will assume no responsibility.

6. Prohibited items

□ Users are prohibited from the following acts.

• Violating the law or ToU
• Submitting false information
• Sending or submitting computer viruses or other harmful computer programs or emails
• Unauthorized access of MyAnimeList’s website or computers related to the Service

MyAnimeList will handle personal information obtained from users in accordance with its privacy policy , cookie policy , and the following items.

□ Users may not transfer or assign their rights and obligations pertaining to the T&C to any third party.

□ MyAnimeList may change the contents of the Event or terminate the Event at its own discretion.

□ The T&C shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. In the event of a dispute, the Tokyo District Court is to be the court of exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
