Japanese illustrator Kina Kazuharu wants your help to create a unique illustration for the MyAnimeList community!
Can you picture a setting or scene that you would love to see illustrated? We are collecting ideas for themes to be combined into a brand new illustration created by Kina just for us. If you are happy with the results or simply enjoy Kina's work, you'll then have the option to tip Kina and receive an image set of the final illustration. It's a great way for us to get together and support such a talented creator.
Kina is an illustrator active in Japan with experience illustrating light novels and adventure games. He has also released multiple books of his artwork. Recently, Kina was chosen to take part in the 2022 edition of the New Masterpieces of 100 Eshi collection, which compiles work from the top 100 illustrators in Japan. His impressive illustrations of young women have a beautiful jewel-like sense of transparency to them.
Kina will be creating a piece based on ideas from you! Let us know what kind of illustration you would like to see—including details about the character, what kind of background or setting you would like to see, and/or the situation for the piece to narrate. Kina will be commenting on the themes that strike him the most and choosing them for his illustration.

What is Oshikatsu?
Oshikatsu is a Japanese word used to describe the act of supporting and cheering for somebody or something you really like (a.k.a your oshi).
MALxJapan is seeking to bring you more projects that help you out with your own oshikatsu!
Kina Kazuharu (和遥キナ)
A freelance illustrator residing in Tokyo.
His illustrations are known for their detail and beautiful sense of transparency. He has provided illustrations for many works such as designs for adventure games as well as light novel illustrations.
His gentle illustrations often depict the youthfulness of teenage girls, with a unique Japanese air to them as they go about their school days and other activities that are typical of adolescence.
Two plans are available: the Oshikatsu Personalized Plan costs $30 and the Oshikatsu Coffee Plan costs $5. (including system and PayPal fees)
The rights to the image belong to the creator, Kina Kazuharu.
Both plans come with two differently-sized versions of the illustration (one optimized for your About Me page and one optimized for your Profile Picture on MAL).
The Oshikatsu Personalized Plan is the only plan which comes autographed by Kina. He will sign the illustration that is optimized for your About Me and will even write your name! The name he will use will be whatever you have set as your display name on Otsukai at the time of purchase, so please be sure to set the correct name in advance.
The Oshikatsu Personalized Plan will also allow you to look at the illustration layer-by-layer, so you can gain a deeper insight as to how the image was created.

The name used for the Oshikatsu Personalized Plan will be the same as your display name on Otsukai.
Please be sure to change your display name on Otsukai to the name you would like to be used.
We cannot change the name once you have made your purchase.
If you do not already have an Otsukai account, we highly recommend creating one ahead of time here: https://otsukai.com/user/register
You can change your display name on Otsukai by going to My Page → Edit Profile and then changing the name in the Name box.
The illustration will be available to purchase as a digital download only.
The illustrations will be sent as a PNG file type.
The illustrations for sale do not use NFTs. The serial numbers are the same as a serial number that would be available on physical items and do not use a blockchain of any kind.
You can purchase the illustration on Otsukai during the sales period between February 18 5pm - February 25 10pm (PT).
The payment methods available are PayPal and credit card only.
You will receive the illustration data you have purchased via an email from Otsukai.
Please understand that these emails will NOT be automated and will be processed one-by-one.
Otsukai will begin to send the illustration data from March 7, 2022.
Illustrations belonging to the Oshikatsu Personalized Plan may take some time to process, so your patience will be very much appreciated.
