20 years since its debut, Bisco Hatori’s Ouran High School Host Club has finally been adapted into a stage musical!

The popular manga takes place at the titular Host Club of Ouran Academy, a prestigious school for the rich and famous.
The manga began serialisation in Hakusensha’s LaLa magazine in 2002, and was adapted into an anime in 2006.
A live action TV series adaptation and subsequent movie in 2011-2012 revived interest in the series.

The musical is directed by Chobi Natsuki from the Shikagoroshi theater group, with a script from Muck Akazawa. The music is being provided by Yu from vague. The cast itself is made up of talented and popular actors including Junya Komatsu as Tamaki Suou.
With splendid music to grace our ears, let the curtain rise on the gorgeous and elegant world of Ouran High School Host Club.

I love the art of acting. As for musicals? I love them more than my three square meals, if you know what I mean. It feels like a dream for something I’ve created to be turned into a musical. And years after I completed it, at that! It reminds me just how blessed the Host Club is and how grateful I am for it.
