In the world of Attack on Titan, the Nine Titans are special Titans who possess human intelligence and have unique abilities.
Of these nine, the Colossal Titan, Armored Titan and the main character Eren Yeager’s Titan form, the Founding Titan, were chosen to be used as motifs for these accessories because of their great impact in the story.

Artist comment
Design-wise, Eren Yeager’s form of the Founding Titan, the Doomsday Titan, would be nearly impossible to recreate as an accessory. Its fierce face is interesting, but what about all its bones and hair?
As a character, it’s already so well-developed that I felt nothing can be sacrificed or added to the design…so I asked myself, “What is the most frightening part of the Doomsday Titan?” To which I could only answer, its terrifying face glaring straight at you, ready to destroy. So I took that idea and polished it to the limit, which is how I reached the final design.
I wanted the ring size to be adjustable, so I chose sterling silver for the material.

Artist comment
The difficult part was the mouth.
As it still subtly resembles Bertolt, I felt the facial expression was important and took great care in creating this piece. To give the piece a rawness, I selected bronze once again for the material. Feel the power of the Colossal Titan, a being with the strength to destroy everything.

Artist
These designs were created by Takashi Yoshizaka, a designer at accessory brand haraKIRI and Attack on Titan fan. Yoshizaka sought to design the accessories in a way that preserves the intensity of the original characters but could still be easily used in day-to-day life. Each design was created by hand by Yoshizaka.
TAKASHI YOSHIZAKA Profile
In 1997 Yoshizaka joined a company making small props for film and stage productions and eventually went on to work with Toei Movie Studios where he handled art-related work for tokusatsu programs. In 2003, he established his accessory brand haraKIRI.
In 2023, the brand’s 20th anniversary, haraKIRI is being relaunched as a concept jewelry brand that focuses on the concept and ideas behind a piece rather than the materials they are made from.
Yoshizaka also intends to broaden his creative horizons and work not only as a jewelry designer but also in drawing and illustration, armor fitting and dressing, and to remodel himself from “haraKIRI designer” to “Darkness Artist”.
He defines his work as intending to “reveal truths about the world through the creation of a yin-yang balance by intentionally focusing on the darkness in the people and the world we live in”.

Artist comment
I worked hard to portray both the inherent rage of the Armored Titan and Reiner’s bitter melancholy from the later part of the story. The Armored Titan’s hard, armor-like segments of skin are a yellowish shade, so I selected a brass material that is similar in color. I hope with this piece you get a sense of this dark hero who continues fighting for humanity despite his regrets for what he has done.
